The New Haven Rockets (New Haven, MI) basketball edged the host Lake Shore Shorians (St. Clair Shores, MI), 51-49 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rockets now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Walled Lake Western for a non-league bout on Monday, February 17. New Haven will play a Warriors team coming off a 52-49 league loss to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 5-14.
With the loss, Lake Shore falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Shorians travel to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-7. University Liggett won 62-55 in their recent league bout against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI)
