Kentucky High School Basketball - Lyon County knocks off Murray

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY) and the visiting Murray Tigers (Murray, KY), observed Lyon County's basketball team overcome Murray by a margin of 79-70.
The Lyons (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 5 challenge with a 7-17 record. In their last challenge, Trigg County dropped by Webster County (Dixon, KY), 78-64, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Murray will attempt to better on its 8-18 season record.
