Montana High School Basketball - Malta victorious over Poplar

In Friday's league contest, the host Malta Mustangs basketball team scored a good 63-55 triumph over the Poplar Indians.
The Mustangs (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Harlem (Harlem, MT). The Wildcats go into the B District 2 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Harlem was toppled by Box Elder (Box Elder, MT), 76-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Wolf Point Wolves (Wolf Point, MT) in a B District 2 contest, on Saturday, February 15. Poplar will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 0-15 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview, MT).
