The West Prairie Cyclones basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs to 49 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cyclones now possess a 12-16 record. They play next when they host Barry Western for a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. West Prairie will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 55-37 non-league loss to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-18.

With the loss, Mendon Unity falls to 16-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Barry Western (Barry, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a West Central game on Tuesday, February 18. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-19. Barry Western lost 56-28 in their recent non-league game against West Prairie (Sciota, IL)
