The Richford Falcons got by the host Winooski Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 55-53 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Bellows Free Academy Bullets (Fairfax, VT) in a Mountain outing, on Monday, February 17. Richford will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Bullets come into the outing with a 7-12 record after their 57-40 non-league win over Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT).
The Spartans (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT). The Eagles come into the Lake outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Mt. Abraham held off Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT), 57-39, in a league outing.
