In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sacred Heart Gremlins basketball team scored a good 70-50 triumph over the Smithton Tigers.

The Gremlins (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Halfway (Halfway, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Halfway was topped by Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO), 63-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Cole Camp Blue Birds (Cole Camp, MO) in a Kaysinger contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Smithton will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Blue Birds go into the contest with a 3-16 record after their 66-53 league loss to Otterville (Otterville, MO).
