In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. John's Pioneers basketball team scored a good 55-46 triumph over the Shrewsbury Colonials.
The Pioneers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 11-5 record.
In their next game, the Colonials confront the Leominster Blue Devils (Leominster, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett A contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Shrewsbury will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 87-59 non-league win over Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA).
