The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) and the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), observed Whiteville's basketball team overwhelm South Columbus by a score of 59-37.

The Wolfpack (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Vikings come into the 1A/2A Waccamaw challenge with a 5-17 record. In their last challenge, West Columbus trounced East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 42-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Stallions battle the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a 1A/2A Waccamaw challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. South Columbus will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 60-18 non-league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).
