In Friday's league contest, the host Vicksburg Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 55-53 win over the Sturgis Trojans.
The Bulldogs (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Portage Central edged Mattawan (Mattawan, MI), 55-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Otsego Bulldogs (Otsego, MI) in a Wolverine B contest, on Monday, February 17. Sturgis will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 57-36 league loss to Plainwell (Plainwell, MI).
