The Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD) basketball were winner over the host Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD), 51-42 in Friday's league bout.
The Owls now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Hebron for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Westminster will play a Vikings team coming off a 80-68 league win over Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Winters Mill falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Hereford (Parkton, MD) to play the Bulls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Bulls go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Hereford won 61-45 in their recent league bout against Pikesville (Baltimore, MD)
