Kentucky High School Basketball - Allen County-Scottsville holds off Greenwood

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Allen County-Scottsville Patriots basketball team scored a close 57-54 triumph over the Greenwood Gators.
The Patriots (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Warren (Bowling Green, KY). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 12-12 record. In their last contest, South Warren nipped Hart County (Munfordville, KY), 76-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gators confront the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, February 16. Greenwood will attempt to better on its 12-14 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 22-6 record after their 56-41 non-league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY).
