The Smyrna Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Cape Henlopen Vikings to 52 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 16-4 record. They play next when they host Caesar Rodney for a Henlopen - Northern game on Monday, February 17. Smyrna will confront a Riders team coming off a 50-36 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Riders record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Cape Henlopen falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wicomico (Salisbury, MD) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Indians go into the game with a record of 17-3. Wicomico lost 54-52 in their recent league game against Parkside (Salisbury, MD)
