In Friday's league contest, the visiting Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks basketball team scored a big 52-30 triumph over the North Star Knights.
The Hawks (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chinook (Chinook, MT). The Beeters go into the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Chinook smashed Conrad (Conrad, MT), 61-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Turner Tornadoes (Turner, MT) in a C District 9 contest, on Saturday, February 15. North Star will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 44-35 non-league loss to Hays-Lodge Pole (Hays, MT).
