In Friday's league contest, the visiting Service Cougars basketball team scored a good 55-37 triumph over the Chugiak Mustangs.

The Cougars (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines go into the 4A Cook Inlet contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, South Anchorage was toppled by Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 66-21, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. Chugiak will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 2-14 record after their 72-14 non-league loss to Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK).
