Colorado High School Basketball - Grand Junction Central holds off Grand Junction

February 14, 2025: Grand Junction, CO 81504

In Friday's league contest, the host Grand Junction Central Warriors basketball team scored a close 55-51 triumph over the Grand Junction Tigers.

The Warriors (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Caprock Academy was tipped by Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO), 65-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) in a 6A/5A Southwestern contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Grand Junction will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Red Hawks go into the contest with a 17-3 record after their 39-37 league loss to Palisade (Palisade, CO).
