The Lawrence County Bulldogs defeated the visiting Morgan County Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 60-49 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, February 17. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Cardinals come into the outing with a 13-7 record after their 54-47 league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY).
The Cougars (9-15) will now prepare for their outing against Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Hornets come into the non-league outing with a 16-7 record. In their last outing, Phelps overcame Hurley (Hurley, VA), 79-35, in a non-league outing.
