West Virginia High School Basketball - Man nips Meadow Bridge

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Man Hillbillies basketball squad scored a tight 44-40 victory over the Meadow Bridge Wildcats.

With the victory, Man advances its record to 3-11 on the year.

The Wildcats now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richwood for a Coalfield A battle on Monday, February 17. Meadow Bridge will meet a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 60-28 non-league loss to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 1-6.
