Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple River fells Sibley East

The Maple River Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Sibley East Wolverines to 56 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 23-21 record. They play next when they host Wyndmere/Lidgerwood for a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. Maple River will confront a Warbirds team coming off a 47-43 league win over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD). The Warbirds record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Sibley East falls to 10-16 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Maple River (Mapleton, MN) to confront the Eagles in a AA Section 2 game on Friday, March 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 24-21.
