South Dakota High School Basketball - Timber Lake nips Newell

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Timber Lake Panthers basketball team scored a close 38-34 triumph over the Newell Irrigators.
The Panthers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Kougars go into the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Kadoka nipped Todd County (Mission, SD), 54-17, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Irrigators battle the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Newell will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-13 record after their 39-28 non-league loss to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD).
