Tennessee High School Basketball - South-Doyle sneaks past Sequoyah

The South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) basketball edged the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), 51-45 in Friday's league bout.
The Cherokees now possess a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Lenoir City for a 3A District 5 bout on Friday, February 21. South-Doyle will play a Panthers team coming off a 52-30 non-league loss to McMinn Central (Englewood, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 14-11.
With the loss, Sequoyah falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Loudon (Loudon, TN) to play the Redskins in a 3A District 5 bout on Thursday, February 20. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 13-13. Loudon lost 32-25 in their recent league bout against Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN)
