Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), 67-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Wichita County upgrades its record to 17-1 on the year. The Indians host Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 14-3. Wallace County won 60-34 in their recent league match against St. Francis (St. Francis, KS)

The Trojans now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakin for a Hi-Plains match on Tuesday, February 18.
