In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets basketball team scored a close 25-19 win over the Fort Defiance Indians.
The Green Hornets (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators come into the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Riverheads held off Staunton (Staunton, VA), 29-22, in a non-league test.
The Indians (1-17) will now prepare for their test against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants come into the non-league test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Waynesboro held off Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA), 33-21, in a non-league test.
