In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Portales Rams basketball team scored a big 43-20 win over the Goddard Rockets.
The Rams (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Goddard will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record.
