The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) and the host La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI), witnessed Barrington's ice hockey team nip La Salle Academy by a final score of 2-1.

The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders come into the Division 1 challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Prout was nipped by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 5-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 15. La Salle Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI).
