The Mattamuskeet Lakers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Ocracoke Dolphins to 18 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lakers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Bear Grass Charter for a non-league game on Monday, February 17. Mattamuskeet will confront a Bears team coming off a 65-35 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, NC). The Bears record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, Ocracoke falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Dolphins travel to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. The Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 1-7.
