In Friday's non-league outing, the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Appling County Pirates.
The Yellow Jackets (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA). The go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Frederica Academy was edged by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
