The Calhoun Sandcrabs soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Rice Consolidated Raiders to 1 in the Sandcrabs league victory on Friday.

The Sandcrabs now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bay City for a 4A Region 3 District 22 bout on Monday, February 17. Calhoun will play a Blackcats squad coming off a 6-2 league win over El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Blackcats record now stands at 14-0.

With the loss, Rice Consolidated moves to 9-6 on the year. The Raiders travel to Columbus (Columbus, TX) to play the Cardinals in a 4A Region 3 District 22 bout on Friday, February 21. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-6.
