The Falcons (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Rams enter the 6A Region 1 District 1 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Montwood Socorro (El Paso, TX), 1-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region 1 District 1 battle, on Tuesday, February 18. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX).
