In Friday's league outing, the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Nacogdoches Dragons.

The Tigers (9-0) will now prepare for their outing against Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region 2 District 10 outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Tyler got by Texas (Texarkana, TX), 6-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Dragons confront the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 10 outing, on Tuesday, February 18. Nacogdoches will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Mavericks go into the outing with a 1-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).
