The Chelsea Hornets softball squad (Chelsea, AL), was edged 3-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL)

With the triumph, Thompson advances its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Mortimer Jordan won 15-14 in their recent non-league bout against Chilton County (Clanton, AL)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 20. Chelsea will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
