The West Point Green Wave triumphed over the visiting Ethel Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Green Wave meet the East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, West Lauderdale was routed by Clarkdale (Meridian, MS), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.
