Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 51-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Waterford upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Lancers travel to Amistad (New Haven, CT) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 16. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 12-4.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut II bout, on Thursday, February 17. Bacon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 75-71 non-league win over Plainfield (Central Village, CT).
