Roncalli Jets (Manitowoc, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Valders Vikings (Valders, WI), 48-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Roncalli upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Jets host Brillion (Brillion, WI) to play the Lions in a Eastern Wisconsin bout on Friday, February 18. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Brillion won 60-50 in their recent league bout against Kiel (Kiel, WI)
Next up, the Vikings play the New Holstein Huskies (New Holstein, WI) in a Eastern Wisconsin bout, on Friday, February 18. Valders will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-21 record after their 63-62 league loss to Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI).
