The Lanier Longhorns held off the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's league match.
The Longhorns now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Habersham Central for a AAAAAA Region 8 match on Friday, February 18. Lanier will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Winder-Barrow drops to 3-4 on the season. The Bulldoggs travel to Buford (Buford, GA) to encounter the Wolves in a AAAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, February 22. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 7-0.
