Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns confront the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Lanier will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.

The Bulldoggs now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buford for a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Wednesday, February 23. Winder-Barrow will confront a Wolves team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-2.
