The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Holmes for a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, February 22. O'Connor will face a Huskies squad coming off a 17-3 non-league loss to Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Jay falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Del Rio (Del Rio, TX) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 18. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
