The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX) and the visiting Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX), saw Lake View's softball squad nip Reagan County by a count of 10-6.

The Chiefs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Victoria East for a non-league match on Thursday, February 17.

With the loss, Reagan County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Owls host Stanton (Stanton, TX) to face the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 5 match on Tuesday, April 12. The Buffaloes enter the match with a record of 0-3. Stanton lost 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Early (Early, TX)
