Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD), 89-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Spalding upgrades its record to 14-15 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD) to play the Gaels in a MIAA A - Red bout on Friday, February 17. The Gaels come into the bout with a record of 32-3. Mount St. Joseph won 54-53 in their recent league bout against Goretti (Hagerstown, MD)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD) in a MIAA A - Red bout, on Friday, February 17. Gilman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record.
