Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME), 90-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jonesport-Beals upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 18-0. Southern Aroostook won 78-40 in their recent non-league bout against East Grand (Dansforth, ME)
