Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 63-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bacon Academy upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Bobcats host Windham (Willimantic, CT) to play the Whippets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Whippets go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Windham lost 79-64 in their recent league bout against Fitch (Groton, CT)

Next up, the Panthers play the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 59-35 league loss to Wheeler (North Stonington, CT).
