In Wednesday's league match, the host Beal City Aggies basketball team scored a good 47-33 triumph over the Pine River Area Bucks.

In their next game, the Aggies meet the Harrison Hornets (Harrison, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 20. Beal City will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record.

With the defeat, Pine River Area moves to 4-12 on the year. The Bucks host Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI) to meet the Comets in a Highland match on Friday, February 17. The Comets enter the match with a record of 11-5. Northern Michigan Christian won 50-33 in their recent league match against Lake City (Lake City, MI)
