In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA) basketball squad felled the host Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA), by a margin of 72-52.

The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their match against Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA). The Lakers enter the South Coast match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Apponequet Regional was outscored by Bourne (Bourne, MA), 71-51, in a league match.

With the defeat, Bishop Stang moves to 7-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA) to meet the Bishops in a Catholic Central - Large match on Friday, February 17. The Bishops enter the match with a record of 17-0. Archbishop Williams won 98-87 in their recent non-league match against Burke (Dorchester, MA)
