ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), 72-68 in a league bout.

With the victory, ConVal upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Laconia (Laconia, NH) to play the Sachems in a Division II bout on Friday, February 17. The Sachems come into the bout with a record of 14-1.
