Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI), 45-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hancock upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI) to play the Mountaineers in a Mid-Peninsula bout on Friday, February 17. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 17-1. Iron Mountain won 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI)

Next up, the Bays play the Baraga Vikings (Baraga, MI) in a Copper Mountain - Copper County bout, on Friday, February 17. Dollar Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to North Dickinson (Felch, MI).
