The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons tipped the host Woodland Warriors basketball team by a final score of 41-37 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Thursday, February 16. Flanagan-Cornell will attempt to move on its 13-17 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 23-5 record after their 52-39 league win over Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL).
With the defeat, Woodland moves to 9-20 on the year. The Warriors travel to St. Bede (Peru, IL) to face the Bruins in a non-league game on Saturday, February 18.
