Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY), 74-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Hornell upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the World of Inquiry Griffins (Rochester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Wayland-Cohocton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 61-57 non-league win over Rochester Prep (Rochester, NY).
