The Kickapoo Chiefs basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Joplin Eagles to 48 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillcrest for a Ozarks contest on Friday, February 17. Kickapoo will meet a Hornets team coming off a 70-65 league loss to Glendale (Springfield, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 9-7.

The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Branson (Branson, MO). The Pirates enter the Central Ozarks contest with a 3-8 record.
