The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) basketball crushed the host Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY), 89-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Goldbacks (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Crusaders go into the Section 9 Orange County I test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Monroe-Woodbury walloped Kingston (Kingston, NY), 57-55, in a league test.

The Bushmen now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they travel to Washingtonville for a Section 9 Orange County II test on Thursday, February 16. Pine Bush will encounter a Wizards squad coming off a 67-37 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Wizards record now stands at 6-13.
