Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE) and the host St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE), saw Salesianum's basketball squad hold off St. Elizabeth by a count of 54-49.

With the victory, Salesianum upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Sallies travel to Howard (Wilmington, DE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Howard won 80-42 in their recent league challenge against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE)

Next up, the Vikings play the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a Freelance challenge, on Monday, February 20. St. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record.
