New York High School Basketball - Hornell succumbs to Aquinas Institute

The Aquinas Institute Little Irish topped the visiting Hornell Red Raiders basketball team by a final score of 54-37 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Little Irish face the Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Aquinas Institute will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Screaming Eagles enter the game with a 12-7 record after their 48-37 league win over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY).
With the defeat, Hornell moves to 12-8 on the year. The Red raiders host Le Roy (Le Roy, NY) to face the Oatkan Knights in a Section 5 Livingston County I game on Friday, February 24. The Oatkan Knights enter the game with a record of 7-9.
